PQA VENUES is excited to curate its inaugural programme for the 2018 Edinburgh Festival Fringe. We work with eager theatre-makers and performers who bring evocative, vivid and inspiring stories to life. PQA VENUES host three unique studio spaces at Riddle’s Court, plus and a Courtyard and bar area featuring a free performance space for musicians. We believe the high-quality spaces, technical capacities, audience facilities and promotional support we can offer to our performers make PQA VENUES a leading partner for those taking their shows to the Edinburgh Fringe.
All studio spaces are adapted and equipped by Henley Theatre Services, expert specialists in the transformation of spaces for performance, providing all spaces with high-quality technical capabilities. PQA VENUES’ Studio Spaces are converted specifically for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and therefore viewing Riddle’s Court outside of the festival period the may not provide potential hirers with an accurate view of what will be provided. All three studios have excellent audience facilities, including comfortable seating, a modern bar area and secluded Courtyard. The free space is situated in the Courtyard bar area for musicians looking for performance opportunities during the Festival. As well as providing high-standard, versatile performance spaces, PQA VENUES is committed to supporting our performers in achieving the maximum reach and engagement with Fringe audiences. PQA VENUES can offer you the expertise of our dedicated Marketing, PR and Graphic Design Teams.
Our Marketing team will promote all our shows through a mixture of media opportunities and outlets. Your show will be listed in the official Fringe Programme and will also appear in our own Programme Guide, which only contains shows programmed at PQA VENUES. This will be distributed digitally to our database of 30,000, listed extensively online, and given to the public throughout the festival via a variety of distribution methods. Our PR team will begin to publicise all programmed shows from early March and throughout the Festival period to engage press at a local and national level, securing interviews and coverage. Online ticket sales will be made via both the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and PQA VENUES’ websites. Where we are able, PQA VENUES can host extensive multimedia to help promote your show.
