EdFringe Deadlines – What you need to know
Congratulations! You’ve applied to perform at Edinburgh Fringe 2019, at the 2018 Winner of Best Venue. Here is your quick and easy guide as to what happens between now and your performance date:
Once you have signed your contract and paid your initial deposit PQA Venues will register your show for you. We will send you a link to the Fringe website that will allow you to add additional info about your show to be included in the Fringe programme.
Early Bird Registration closes on March 13th. The PQA Venues deadline to complete your Fringe Society registration with additional show information is March 11th, as we want the early bird discount to be available to all our shows. (However, registration is still possible up until right up until July.
The Fringe Programme is published in June. Any shows not registered with the Fringe Society by April 10th will not be included in the printed Fringe Programme. However, you will still appear on the Fringe app.
The PQA Venues Programme will be published on July 1st. Please submit any press releases, social media links and tags etc to PQA Venues by 31st May. If you want anything different to what is being published in the Fringe Programme to be published in our programme, we will need to have received your artwork and copy by June 15th.
By July 8th, we will need to have received your Technical Requirements form, Risk Assessments and PLI. These are compulsory documents and will ensure you are legal and your tech needs are met.
Tech sessions will happen in late July or early August. At least two weeks prior to your tech session, we require a copy of your marked-up script as well as any additional technical staff supplied by PQA Venues, which will need to be booked by this point.
