The Trial

12th August 2019 - 16th August 2019

Franz Kafka’s The Trial as you have never seen it before. A post-millennial reimagining of the classic told with carnivalesque playfulness and raunch. Equality, victimisation and social justice. Is Josef K defined by his gender, and his actions a result of the ideologies indoctrinated by society? He is the last man standing in our otherwise all-female ensemble. Our students explore the central themes of The Trial whilst questioning both conservativism and liberalism.
